With the handling system MultiChange easy, OPS-INGERSOLL offers your moderately priced entry into automated HSC machining. The system con ba configured for electrode or workpiece machining, depending on your requirements. The magazine can be programmed with place coding and can carry high transfer weights for electrodes and workpiece pallets. The compact and easy-to-operate tool changer can also be retrofitted to older OPS-INGERSOLL milling machines.

The MultiChange light handling-system is the automation solution for changing electrodes and workpieces without a job management system. At an excellent price-performance ratio, the changer enables space-coded programming and the movement of high transfer weights. The system can be upgraded to a full version with job management and multi-machine connection.

With the MultiChange performance, you experience maximum performance in automation. The handling-system combines milling and erosion technology and enables the automation of several machines. This means that alternating workpiece electrodes or small batches can be processed in a technology network. In combination with a job management system, data can be exchanged directly with all common CAD/CAM systems, ensuring maximum operational reliability and identification.

In order to meet the high requirements for the production of plastic-metal composite parts and plastic gears, Gear Motion made a new investment in 2021 following an intensive benchmarking process. Due to the extreme precision requirements, the decision was made to combine a HIGH SPEED EAGLE V5 5-axis milling machine and the EAGLE G5 Precision die-sinking EDM machine from OPS-INGERSOLL. An investment that enables the company to react even faster and more flexibly to their customer requirements.
